Mineral Specimen #955 Double Terminated Tourmaline
Malkhan pegmatite field, Krasnyi Chikoy, Chitinskaya Oblast', Transbaikalia, Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia
The interior of this Tourmaline is a peach color and the edges are a raspberry color. The termination which is pictured is rich in this raspberry color. The other termination is more complex with multiple terminations. There is some mica in the grooves between the terminations. The specimen has high luster, especially on the larger termination. The interior is gemmy with internal fractures. The specimen is in very good condition wiht no appreciable damage.
