White Pine Mine, White Pine, Ontonagon County, Michigan, USA

A beautiful grouping of dendritic Silver crystals. The White Pine Mine was the last Copper mine in Michigan's Copper District to operate commercially for Copper ore. It closed in 1995. Silver was a significant secondary byproduct and was one of the reasons the mine could operate profitably.
