Although there were quite a number of these Spessartine Garnets found a few years ago, this is a unique specimen because the Garnets are still attached to the Albite. The crystals exhibit a highly etched habit but are completely terminated and are very lustrous and have good clarity. The color is slightly dependent upon the light source; these pictures were taken under CFLs, under incadescent lighting, they are notiecably redder. The specimen is in very good to excellent condtion with no noticeable damage.
