Mineral Specimen #834 Copper Crystals
Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA
This specimen appears to be recently cleaned with HCl which has left green and yellow copper salts in places on the specimen. No mine identification is known. That being said, it is a large specimen that is composed almost entirely of well formed crystals. The average crystal is 5 mm across, with many smaller ones and few up to 7 mm.
