Evergreen Bluff Mine, Mass City, Ontonagon Co., Michigan, USA
This mine was worked for Copper primarily from 1853 until 1871 and again to a limited amount from 1878 to 1911. This specimen was recovered from the poor rock piles in 2009. It consists of native Silver on a matrix of Quartz and metamorphosed Basalt along with a crust of micro crystals of Epidote. There is one large crude crystal.
