Ex. Don Langham prior to 1975

The Calcite crystals from this location are quite famous for their unique twinned habit with rounded edges and the way the light appears to glow from within. This specimen is quite different from others from the location. The largest crystal has three faces which are dull on the surface and translucent. The other faces have a high luster and very clear which allows one to see an unusual phantom like center which is hard to photograph but can be seen in the last photo. Additionally, there are quite a large number of smaller crystals on the matrix which is highly unusual.

Condition: Good

Flaws: There are a few, small, minor dings on the main crystal. For display purposes, these could be masked with small dabs of mineral oil.
