Ex. Norm Woods

Clear to white Barite crystals which are clear to white in color and in places, stained an orange color by iron oxides. A very nice specimen from an old mine that closed in 1944 although it was still possible to find specimens on the dumps as late as the mid 90s. Locally, this material was called Glass Tiff. The bottom of the specimen is hollow with a few bits of Styrofoam still stuck around the edges.

Condition: Excellent
