Although there are a number of Septarian Nodules from this location available online, for a wide range of prices, this specimen is different from the vast majority for three reasons. First, the maroon to almost pink color in the middle part is quite unusual and makes the specimen more attractive than most. Secondly, this nodule is very close to being perfectly round rather than oval in shape. Also, the patterns exhibited by maroon/pink areas are fairly unique. Note: on the back side of each half, the nodule has been sawn to form a flat surface for display purposes.

Condition: Excellent

Flaws: Although saw marks are visible in some of the close up photos, they are no visible in person to the naked eye.
