Ex. CBWARD Fluorescent Minerals
The Sodalite in this specimen is present in two different forms. All of it fluoresces a bright yellow orange under SW UV. Some of the Sodalite is gray in color with a hint of green in places. Elsewhere, the Sodalite is red/violet in color. When the specimen is exposed to UV, the red/violet color intensifies but fades quickly when the UV light is pulled away. The specimen was from Charles Ward who was a prominent dealer of fluorescent minerals who would set up at many shows, including all the major US shows often with a large tent which was painted black.
 Condition: Composed of massive material.
  Flaws: Essentially massive material.
