Myrickite is a lapidary term for common, white opal with inclusions of red colored cinnabar and was named after Francis Marion "Shady" Myrick. The material is highly prized in China. These two specimens have a good glossy luster and interesting patterns of cinnabar.
Condition: Composed of massive material.
Flaws: Essentially massive material.
