This specimen is covered with white colored, opaque, long, thin Quartz crystals sometimes referred to as Needle Quartz. The longest crystals are a little over 1 cm in length. On a few of the Quartz crystals, there are perched small, straw yellow colored, clear Calcite crystals some of which appear to be twinned. The matrix is composed of Pyrite covered with a layer of Arsenopyrite. In a few places, both small Pyrite and small Arsenopyrite crystals are present.
Condition: Good
Flaws: There are a few scattered, incomplete Quartz crystals and small areas with broken crystals at the edges/bottom of the specimen.
