A stack of thin Hematite crystals with outwardly growing, epitaxial Rutile crystals around the edges. The Hematite crystals are nearly black in color with a metallic luster and are aligned in various directions. The Rutile crystals have a high metallic luster and are a rick golden color. The specimen has been artfully mounter by Luiz Menezes on an acrylic base with a post in the back to prop it up. The specimen has been mounted with tack and can easily be unmounted if desired.

Condition: Good

Flaws: Likely not all of the Rutile crystals are terminated. Also, the topmost Hematite crystal is incomplete.
