Ex. Robert Gannon

A cluster of large blocky Scapolite crystals which are a overall tan color. The specimen fluoresces a faint red under SW.

Condition: Good

Flaws: Only one crystal is terminated, but it is double terminated. It also has a large crack about half way in the middle. At first glance, this looks like the crack may be repaired. However, close examination of where this crystals contacts the other crystals does appear as if they are solidly attached and not repaired. Also, the crack is quite deep; a piece of paper can be inserted into the crack 9 mm. Furthermore, there is no obvious glue including under UV where glues often fluoresce. The conclusion is, the specimen has not bee repaired, but I cannot 100% insure this is true.
