Mineral Specimen #6692 Aurichalcite, Hemimorphite
79 Mine, Hayden, Gila Co, Arizona
8.1 x 4.8 x 3.5 cm
3.2 x 1.9 x 1.4 in
An interesting specimen with a ring of blue green Aurichalcite crystals on small bladed white colored Hemimorphite crystals. These white crystals are a thin layer over smaller, beige colored Hemimorphite crystals which make up the rest of the matrix of the specimen. There is an elongated area in the center of the specimen where the lighter crystals did not grow. On the reverse side of the specimen, there are more needle like crystals of Aurichalcite on the beige colored Hemimorphite.
Condition: Very Good
Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
