A relatively large and well formed Columbite crystal in massive Quartz. This is a specimen from the 1800s from one of the most important mineral collections ever assembled in the U.S. For more information, there is a very good article on C. S. Flaws: Two of the sides of the Columbite crystal are incomplete and there are a few chips on another.
