There are areas of this partial Quartz crystal which have a slight blue color due to the inclusion of fibrous, blue colored Elbaite crystals. There is also included in the Quartz a thicker Tourmaline crystal which appears completely black and opaque and is likely Schorl. There is an interesting, white colored phantom several mm below the surfaces. The Quartz above this phantom is very clear much more so than the Quartz below the phantom.

Condition: Good

Flaws: The specimen is just a section of a Quartz crystal with healed surfaces. There is an internal cleave in the Quartz caused by the larger, included, black colored Tourmaline crystal which itself is incomplete and not terminated at either end.
