Ex. Chicago Field Museum from Wards Scientific

A large cluster of Amazonite and Smoky Quartz. The Amazonite is a light blue color with a hint of green. There are a number of Albite casts after Quartz on the specimen. The specimen was likely purchased by the museum in either the late 1800s or early 1900s when Amazonstone was the name used rather than Amazonite.

Condition: Good

Flaws: There are a few missing crystals. However, it does not appear the specimen has ever been repaired which is often the case with similar specimens.
