Ex. University of Michigan Geology Dept. from The Gem Shop of Wolf Creek, MT (Alfred J. Harstad) between 1919 and 1931
Massive Covellite which has been sawn and polished on one side. The Covellite has flashes of purple and blue (some of the blue may be due to included Bornite. The polished surface shows both purple and blue. The colors would undoubtedly be more prominent if the specimen were cleaned with a weak acid solution but the patina on the polished surface is really nice as it is.
Condition: Very Good
Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
