Mineral Specimen #6408 Halite Crystals
7.9 x 4.2 x 4.3 cm
3.1 x 1.7 x 1.7 in
Ex. Don Langham, prior to 1975.
An assemblage of white colored, cubic Halite crystals with a few showing hopper growth. The specimen was stored within a perky box which kept it preserved from moisture from the atmosphere; remarkably so, considering it was stored in a damp, Michigan basement for over 40 years.
Condition: Very Good
Flaws: There is a slight rounding to some of the edges.
