This specimen looks remarkably similar to Barite on Calcite from the famous Elk Creek location. Even the fluorescence is similar as is the matrix. The biggest difference is both the Barite and the Calcite are a little lighter in color. Also, specimens from this location are considerably less common than those from Elk Creek.
Condition: Fairly Good
Flaws: There is bruising on the edges of the Barite crystal.
