A rather unusual Quartz crytal which is well formed and mostly transparent Quartz crystal. There is a slight phantom of pale Amethyst in the middle of the crystal as well as included thick needles of reddish brown Rutile crystals rising from the base. This is the first time I have seen Rutile and Amethyst color in the same crystal; although, the Rutile does barely enter the Amethyst zone. Another first is this being Amethyst from Diamantina. There is also a cast after Rutile on the side of the crystal which has a white appearance. Additionally, there is an unidentified, brown colored inclusion perched on the edge of a couple of the Rutile needles.

Condition: Very Good to Excellent

Flaws: Micro chipping on termination.
