Tremolite that vaires in color from gray/green to bright green in color. The specimen is formed adjacent to a fault with a slickenside surface. There are at least two other unidentified species on the specimen. The specimen was in the mine run flat and may have been collected by Pullman. There was a hand written label within the flat that read "Frankeite Kalkar, Santa Cruz, Calif.". And although some of the other specimens did have noticable Frankeite, there does not appear to be any in this specimen. The quarry is not flooded and right in the middle of the city next to the UC Santa Cruz campus.
Condition: Composed of massive material.
Flaws: Essentially massive material.
