Foliated Gold running throughout a white Quartz matrix. Although there were gold rushes in the 1800s in Wales, mineral specimens are seldom available/ This is partially due to the demand in the U.K. for jewelry made from Welsh gold which is due in large part to the fact that royal wedding bands are made from Welsh gold.
