A well formed, fairly large, single Cassiterite crystal which is essentially black in color although there are a few small areas where, when held close to a light source, the transmitted color can be seen to be brown. Most of the faces are very smooth and flat with the exception of one side which has two curved faces with a striated face in the middle between them. There is one thin face, or wide edge, which is notched. The surfaces have a very high luster on which fingerprints show when handled as seen in the last picture. Many of the faces have a slight iridescence.

Condition: Good

Flaws: Some minor wear/chipping along the edges. One corner is chipped.
