Mineral Specimen #6182 Quartz/Amethyst Scepter
Liliana Mine, Mun. de Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico
4.1 x 1.3 x 0.9 cm
Sold
Early 2000s
This specimen is a little more complex than the usual scepter. The white shaft is a white, translucent Quartz crystal with a reverse scepter termination. Upon the termination of the white crystal, a second generation of Quartz has grown. The secondary Quartz is a pale Amethyst color and mostly transparent. This secondary Quartz is double terminated with a single point at the end of the specimen and two other terminations which point down the shaft. There is a slight iron oxide staining in the recessed areas of the scepter which gives a citrine like color (note: this is less noticeable in person than in the photos). There is another small white crystal connected to the base of the shaft.
Condition: Excellent
Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
