Mineral Specimen #6110    Cinnabar

Ivanhoe, Tulare Co., California

10.2 x 6.2 x 5 cm

Sold

Ex. California Academy of Sciences

Veins of dark red colored Cinnabar run through the matrix of this specimen. This appears to be an old piece with a interesting misspelling written onto the matrix. Please note: Cinnabar is not listed on mindat for Invanhoe or even Tulare Co. However, mercury is listed as a exploitable commodity from the county which would imply Cinnabar is present.

Condition: Composed of massive material.

Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
