This specimen is composed of thin bladed Calcite crystals completely covered with sparkling micro crystals of Pyrolusite. The color is a dark brown covered with silver colored sparkles. There might be more than one mineral present on the Calcite accounting for the brown color. The specimen is in very good condition with only one spot with very minor wear (one has to search for it).
