This specimen exhibits a very good contrast between the green and purple colors. Both colors are more vivid in real life. One single crystal is quite large (1.3 cm long) and contains both colors. The purple on one side of this specimen is very rich and deep. This location probably produces the most attractive Vesuvianite specimens available. The specimen is in very good condition with the exception of the contact areas.
