Small, pseudocubic crystals of Goyazite have grown upon Hydroxylherderite crystals. Both species are a similar, yellowish beige color. The Goyazite has no luster whereas the Hydroxylherderite has a very high luster which exhibits directional iridescence. This iridescence is very hard to capture in a photograph and is considerably more pronounced and attractive than depicted in the photos. Primarily, this iridescent is in shades which include a golden yellow with a greenish tint which in a few places shades into a golden yellow with orange tints, a violet tinted pink and a pale blue that in some places has a greenish tint. This iridescence is directional in that for some of the surfaces of the crystals, the color is only visible when viewed from a certain angle. On other surfaces, the color changes depending upon the angle of view. In general, the side of the specimen with the larger crystals exhibits the pink violet and pale blue. The side of the specimen with the smaller crystals exhibits the golden yellow/green. There is also minor Eosphorite present on the specimen.

Condition: Good

Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
