A cut and polished Datolite nodule with attached basalt. The color is yellow color with a slight butterscotch tint and red edging. Immediately recognizable as being from the Mesnard mine. The color has less of the butterscotch color and more yellow than often seen for specimens from the mine. Very attractive, difficult to obtain and highly sought after.
