A nodule with orange colored Hureaulite in the interior with a rind of dark brown colored Sicklerite. In places on the surface, there are patches of with submetallic luster. This is a very rare phosphate from the type location from the 1930s or earlier (John Melhase passed in 1938). Note: Stewarite and Salmoniste may also be present.

Condition: Composed of massive material.

Flaws: Essentially massive material.
