The green phases into nearly colorless with a slight yellowish tint and then becomes a pink color with a slight tan tint. One side of the crystal has a flat, smooth surface. The opposing side is curved and striated. The crystal has a high, glassy luster.

Condition: Good

Flaws: There some internal cleaves below the surfaces around the termination. There are also a few internal cleaves perpendicular to the C axis.
