A long, thin, curved stalactic growth of Chalcedony from near a small town in northeast Minas Gerais. The color shades from a light yellow ocher to an orange ocher with black at the base. The specimen glows translucently when backlit. The name of the town is in honor of Dr. Carlos Chagas who discovered the cause of Chagas disease and was founded a few years after his death in the 1930s.
Condition: Good
Flaws: The very tip is incomplete. At the base, two additional, small stalactic growths are incomplete.
