Sphalerite crystals which are a light reddish brown in color and have the typical greasy luster. The crystals are not quite transparent but quite translucent. Tiny Chalcopyrite crystals are perched on some of the Sphalerite crystals. Also present are light pink colored, curved Dolomite crystals and a druze of sparkly, micro Quartz crystals. The specimen is from the Rush district which is famous for its yellow Smithsonite but not many Sphalerite specimens were preserved from the mine. The mines in the district have been long clused.
Condition: Good
Flaws: There is some damage to a few of the Dolomite crystals.
