Spherical aggregates of radiating Wavellite crystals are partially covered with two different layers of secondary Wavellite. The underlying spheres are a rich, dark green color with the secondary layers are much lighter in color. The darker colored material has a rich glossy luster and is translucent when back lit. A couple of the spheres are broken open and a cross section is visible showing the radiating crystals and the outer, secondary layers.
