Mineral Specimen #5222    Dipyramidal Wulfenite Crystals, Calcite

Ahumada Mine, Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico

Light orange colored, bipyrmidal Wulfenite crystals with a layered appearance. This is an unusual habit for the location from which Wulfenite was usually found with a thick, blocky, rectangular habit. Some of the crystals have small, multiple terminations. There is also present white colored Calcite with with a sugary look to it.

Condition: Good

Flaws: There is some bruising on some of the crystals and one of the larger crystals is missing. The bottom of the specimen has been sawed.
