Mineral Specimen #5149    Vanadinite

Mibladen, Morcco

The surface of this specimen is covered with well formed, hexagonal Vanadinite crystals. On one side of specimen, the crystals are a vivid red/orange color and on the other side, the crystals are a light brown color. Many of the crystals exhibit both of the colors on opposing sides with the same orientation as that of the overall color differential of the specimen. The crystals have smooth surfaces with a high, sparkly luster which is slightly more lustrous on the orange colored crystals.

Condition: Excellent

Flaws: Nothing Appreciable

6.7 x 3.5 x 3 cm
The largest crystal is 6 mm across.
