Ex. Michigan School of Mines (now Michigan Tecnological University), Pre 1927


A very old Chaclcocite specimen from the 1800s which was used as a teaching specimen at Michigan College on Mines. This name was used for the school from 1897 until 1927. Well forned Chalcocite crystals are present on the surface of the specimen.

Condition: Fairly Good

Flaws: Some of the crystals are incomplete with the most being at one corner of the specimen (bottom left hand corner of the first picture).
