Mineral Specimen #5110 Pink Halite Crystals
Searles Lake, San Bernardino Co., California
A mass of pink colored Halite crystals. The colors on one side of the specimen are much larger than the other. The larger crystals have a well defined hopper habit. The color is due to the presence of Algae and can fade with time. The color on this specimen appears to be holding up pretty well.
