Ex. Robert Gannon

A thin plate of Quartz composed of worm like, stalactic Quartz. These structures rise upwards of 1.5 cm above the surface. The individual Quartz crystals are essentially just terminations which average 1 mm in width and length. These crystals have a high, sparkly luster. The Quartz is slightly off white in color except where colored an orange color with a thin coating of iron oxides. This iron oxide coating is primarily at the lower levels which highlights the raised worm like structures. A very interesting and unique specimen. The bottom of specimen is compoed of casts after some now dissolved material.

Condition: Very Good

Flaws: There is two small areas of damage both of which are on the edges of the specimen.
