Hotazel, Kalahari manganese fields, Northern Cape Province, South Africa

This specimen has gemmy dogtooth Rhodochrosite crystals on a base composed of massive Hausmannite with a layer of micro crystals at the surface. Two of the Rhodochrosites are complete with one being double terminated. The others are cleaved off.
