A classic example of Galena from Galena, Kansas exhibitng large cubic crystals covered with modified, beveled subcrystals on the surface. The specimen has a high metallic luster. Many of the surfaces are partially covered with golden colored micro crystals of Chalcopyrite. There are also a few Rubyjack Sphalerite crystals on the bottom of the specimen, but these are heavily damaged.
Condition: Good
Flaws: There is are a few small areas showing cleaved surfaces.
