Kunzite is the name used for gemmy pink to pink/violet Spodumene. The name was originally used for material from San Diego County. Specimens from the county are not often available. The color of this specimen is particularly rich being a deep, dark lilac color.
Flaws: Minor wear on tip and edges of termination. One of the sides is a cleaved surface.
