Mineral Specimen #4790    Bustamite/Rhodonite, Franklinite

CaMn2+(Si2O6)

A massive pink to pink/red colored specimen which was labeled as Bustamite, but is most likely a mixture of Rhodonite and Bustamite. At on end of the specimen, there is black colored Franklinite with a few crystals faces and some light colored Willemite. At the other end of the specimen, there is white Calcite and brown colored Willemite. Both the Willemite and Calcite fluoresce vivid green and orange under SW UV.

Condition: Good

Flaws: Essentially massive material.
