Well formed Uvite crystals which vary in color depending upon the angle from which they are viewed. The color varies from green to olive green to orange brown. When the crystals are viewed from the side, some exhibit more than one color the length of the crystal. The Uvite crystals have smooth sides with a high luster and range from semi transparent/gemmy to completely transparent/gemmy. The Uvite crystals are in a matrix of well formed, rhombahedral Magnesite crystals. These crystals range in size from sugary, micro crystals to 6 mm across and in color are mostly white to colorless but a few have an olive green cast due to micro inclusions of Uvite.
