A well formed, elongated Tanzanite crystal with a tapered termination with one, beveled face. Very gemmy but with internal cleavages which precludes it from being cut except for very small stones. The color is highly dichroic being bright blue when viewed from one side and purple when viewed at a perpendicular angle. The surfaces are smooth with a high luster.

Condition: Very Good

Flaws: There are internal fractures and a small on one of the edges below the termination.
