Mineral Specimen #4713 Pink Halite Crystals
Searles Lake, San Bernardino Co., California
A mass of pink colored Halite crystals. The color is due to the presence of Algae and can fade with time. The color on this specimen appears to be holding up pretty well.
Flaws: Some of edges and corners of the crystals are rounded due to exposure to moisture. The specimen is now being stored in a zip lock plastic bag and will be mailed that way (with additional padding).
12.9 x 6.8 x 4.5 cm
