Ex. Edward Colmeman.
A gemmy, bicolor Tourmaline from the famous Himalaya Mine. The colors are a light, bubble gum pink and a light olive green. When viewed from the bottom of the crystal, the green area can be seen as reverse watermelon with a rind of pink encasing the green interior. Very gemmy but not quite facet grade except for small stones; still much more gemmy than is usually seen from the location. The termination is interesting with a central, triangular face. Note on the colors in the pictures: because of the clarity of the crystal, the colors look much darker with a darker background. If displayed in a case, the colors would be like the pictures with the white background. Also, the iron staining on the clay encrustions is white in person - for some reason the minor iron staining in these come out much stronger in the photos.
Condition: Very Good
Flaws: There a few very small chips on the edges. There are few internal cleaves, mostly around the base.
