A section of a Baculite shell with a iridescent layer of nacre. The color of the iridescent is primarily light purple/pink with flashes of light blue and light blue/green. Baculite were squid like creatures with a long conical shell which grew in chambered increments of which this specimens is one section.
Flaws: There are places where the iridescent layer is not present.
