A mass of well formed Garnet crystals, the color of which is dark brown, almost black. In places, there is a thin layer missing revealing another darker layer. At the edges of this top layer, the color is a lighter, orange/brown. The surfaces of the crystals are very smooth with a high luster (with the exception of the darker, exposed, lower layers.

Condition: Good

Flaws: There are a few chips on a few of the edges and corners of the crystals. There is bruising on the edges where the upper layer is missing.
